Public Comments From The Petition
The idea of reinstating a lido on the old pool site area in Twickenham came from the people of Twickenham in the same way that a Petition from residents led to the construction of the original Twickenham lido.
Almost 5,000 people have signed the petition to bring back a lido and their comments show the desire to regenerate Twickenham with a lido, spa and restaurant.
Here are some of the comments from the petition, particularly concerned with regeneration. Initials have been used instead of names which are on the website:
